This build is the result of 2 months or research, going through benchmarks, reviews etcetc

i am still debating which mobo to use, the P5B Deluxe Edition/WiFi or the P5W DH/WiFi. SO if anyone can help me decide, it would be greatly appreciated.

The computer will be used primarily for photoshop, however i will be gaming, running autoCAD and 3DsMAX, and using it for general multimedia. and yes, i will be overclocking it

here are the vitals:

Intel Core™2 Duo Processor E6400 2.13GHz w/ 2MB Cache

Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler for P4/775

OCZ 2GB PC2-6400 EL Platinum XTC Edition Rev. 2 Dual Channel DDR2 Kit (2 x 1GB)

OCZ 600W GameXStream Power Supply w/ Quad +12V

eVGA e-GeForce 7600 GS 256MB PCI-E w/ eVGA Fan, DVI, HDTV-Out

Get a P5W DH Deluxe. This board uses the 975x chipset which has been proven to perform very well. It also has a nifty remote controller which you can use to control your pc when you not right infront of your desk.. It also supports Intel multicore cpu's.. I own this board.. Runs brilliantly...

The Asus P5N32SLI Premium is also a very good choice. It uses the nForce 590 chipset.

975 chipset boards r good for E6600 and above cpus.....for e6300 and e6400 965 chipsets r the best.......

Why is 965 better than 975 for the lower end cpu's?

Oh, The gigabyte range of boards are also good. Examples are DS4 and DQ6

Based on what I've read the 965 boards Overclock a bit better. For you intended use I don't think you can go wrong with either.

I'm running a E6400 with the Asus P5B Deluxe Wi/Fi and have no complaints other than it's cost.
Can't honestly say which is better, because I haven't built a 975 system yet, but I will say the 975 is a newer chipset so it may impact future upgrade options.
Look into which handles the Quad Core just in case

The P5B deluxe will give you the best Oc with the ability to hit 500FSB speeds and higher.
the P5W DH is a very good board but you,ll hit your fsb limits too early to enjoy the potential of the E6400.

on another note get the 7600gt not the gs... thats self explanitory
