Asus P5B-E Plus with TwinX2x2048-6400C4

Greetings.


I've just purchased my self some new parts for my system. All went smooth when selecting drive in Vista x64 setup, but when it installed it gave me a BSOD. Then a ran a Memtest, and it gave me two errors. I've uploaded three pictures for you guys. Please help me, hope not my ram is defective.

Intel Core 2 Duo / E6600
Asus P5B-E/Plus, Intel P965, LGA775
Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C4, 2x1024MB

Can it be a voltage problem?

In the second picture you have there is Memory Voltage. Try bumping that up to 2.0 volts or slightly higher. Check you RAM specs and set the Memory voltage to the RAM's specs. Should be 2.0 to 2.1v.

I would also suggest setting the "Memory Remapping" to "Enabled" before re-installing Vista x64.

I've got a high pitched noise from my motherboard I think, I've thin some place on asus forum it says was because of NB Vcore was too low? If not, what is wrong? I've also changed "Write to Precharge delay" to 15 by some advice I've got from the Official Corsair Memory Support Forum. What happens when I set "Memory Remapping" to "Enabled"?

Sorry, I was thinking you had 4GB of RAM; the Memory Remapping shouldn't make any difference with 2GB of RAM.
