ASUS P5G MLX-C RAM Issue.. HELP!!

Hi,

I have a core 2 due 2.9 GHZ and an asus p5gmlxc motherboard. I had a 2gb transcend 1333 MHZ ram installed and i am trying to install a new 4gb ram but my system is not booting up after installing the new RAM. If i remove it it works fine. Please help. Below is the link of the newly bought RAM

I couldn't find your model.

Regardless, see your manual and tell us:

a) how much memory is supported PER SLOT? (same as total divided by # of slots)

b) is DDR3 supported?

I assume DDR3 is supported since you mention 2GB of 1333MHz, so my guess is you only support up to 2GB per slot.
