asus P5G41T-M LX3 STARTING PROBLEM

i have asus p5g41t-m lx3 motherboard withintel pentium dual core e5300, 2 gb ram , 500 gb hard disk, windows 7. when i tried to start pc with power button . its power led starts glowing but pc does not boot. i have to switch off main supply and switch it on now my pc starts normally with power button. i have to repeat this every time please help me

It could probably be the CMOS battery on your motherboard. If you have an extra battery try that out.

I've had a similar problem with the same motherboard when I turn on my pc it didn't show anything. But when I give up another go it boots into the bios screen but it seems like the bios screen looks really glitchy
