Alright, to start, here's what I've got in my machine.
Xclio Windtunnel Case (Full tower)
Intel Core 2 Quad Processor
2GB RAM
Antec 400W PSU (Until I get something bigger)
Multi Card reader
CDR/RW Disk drive
WD 80GB Hard drive (currently in use in this system)

So, my problem is that after I connected everything on the motherboard, I press the power button, everything lights up for a second, lights for the fans come on, they try to spin for a second, then it just shuts off. I'm worried that I may have connected something wrong, which may have hurt my motherboard. Origionally I thought my PSU was dead, so I sent it back, but I'm getting the same problem, and now I'm out my 1000w PSU because of it.

I just ran a power test, and it seems that my cpu fan isnt getting any power, though it's connected to the cpu_fan slot with the black wire to the ground unit as specified in the manual, and I think this is why the motherboard isnt firing.
Another possibility is that because im only using a 400w power supply, the commit charge is only at 380w and isnt enough power to run all of the components.

Any help is appreciated (Note: I can take pictures if needed.)

Thanks, Tech

Your power supply should be plenty. My first guess would be that the CPU fan is either not seated properly or, like you said, is not getting power. If the fan isn't running, your CPU can overheat extremely quickly and your computer will shut down. Verify if the fan is running when you power up. If it is, then reseat it and make sure all of the pushpins are securely fastened.

As I stated above, the cpu fan is getting no power. It's not trying to spin when I start up the computer, but the top fan, the back fan, and the front fan all start fine. Because that fan isnt working, the entire computer shuts itself off just after being turned on. Should I use a replacement fan? It's slightly smaller, and Im worried that it wont cool it enough because of its size. Also a factor that its a 3 pin, not a 4 pin, the mobo will recognize the cpu fan as not being installed and give the same result.

heh, we're just trying to help. Glad to hear you got it resolved, although that doesn't sound like a good reason why your cpu fan should not be running.
