i'm running core2duo E8400 3ghz at stock speeds with stock cooler ,the cpu temp is 45c at idle but the core0 and core1 temp is 60c at idle at 100% cpu usae the cpu temp easily jumps to 60-65c in 5mins and the core0 and core1 temp jumps to high 100c my coretemp soft shows that my core temps are critical,i cleaned the oem cooler ,reapplied the thermal paste ,but still the temp is same.
i would like u to note that the large heatsink named asus is significantly hot when i touch it .what's the solution is my motherboard is in problem ?

Yes but when you live in a country where in summer the temp rises to 45 degrees C you gotta have aftermarket cooler?

Use prime95 torture test and monitor the temperatures there. At 100% activity it will go upto 95-100degrees. If it exceeds 105 degrees then there is a problem. If it stays below 100 then it is fine.

of any core temps goes below 100c it will shut itself.i seeing a -27 temp when any one of my core going up to 100c
