ASUS P5Q BSOD! HELP!

Ok. This is a new computer build. The specs are:

2x2GB Corsair RAM
E5200
WD 320GB HD
ASUS P5Q Motherboard
Powercolor Radeon HD 4830
DVD Burner
Vista 64-bit

Ok. Here is the problem. I installed vista perfectly. Windows booted. I turn it off and then boot it again. I installed the ATI drivers and software. I restart my PC and get a BSOD. Any ideas on what the problem could be!?

Did you install 64-bit drivers or 32?

Boot into safe mode, remove the drivers, and see if it's fixed. Then you'll at least know where to start.

I installed 64 bit drivers. How do I remove them from safe mode?

Click the start button. Find My computer on the right side. Right click and select properties. Click on device manager. Find your device and uninstall.

Ok. I uninstalled. After I did that I didn't get a BSOD anymore. Everything booted up just fine. But I tried to install just the driver and the I got a BSOD again! What should I do!

Are these the latest ATI drivers?

It could be a video card issue.

What PSU do you have?
Is the 6-pin PCI-E power connected to the video card?
Which specific Corsair RAM kit do you have?

It's a 500W power supply. I don't know the brand. i have the six pin connected. I have also gone to that website and got the driver from there but still got BSOD. The RAM is: Corsair XMS2 TWIN2X4096-6400C5 4GB DDR2 2X2GB PC2-6400 DDR2-800 CL 5-5-5-18 240PIN from ncix.com

Check your BIOS to be sure the RAM is running at the correct voltage. That shouldn't be a big problem in this case, but it's worth checking. 1.9V.

Try with just one stick of RAM as well, and try each stick, in case there is a bad one.

Make sure you have the latest chipset drivers as well.

Beyond that, I can't say.

It's possible your power supply is bad, so that as soon as your GPU asks for more power it can't get it and stumbles.

It's also possible that the card is just bad, and errors out when all the features get used.

Or that the motherboard has issues.

Crap. I did something so stupid. While I was checking the Ram Voltage, I accedently turned it from Auto to 1.7000 and when I turn on my computer, it wont turn on.Help!
