Asus P5QL Pro + Seasonic m12II 630w ?

I just received my m12ii powersupply. I needed more watts for a graphics card upgrade.

thing is, I installed the Seasonic m12ii and now I get nothing but a blinking LED on the mobo.

I unplugged everything but the 24pin, still the same. Took RAM out, still the same. Reinstalled the old PSU, boots up fine.

any explanation ?

You need the 4 Pin ATX connector attached to the mobo by the CPU socket, the 24 pin by itself doesn't hack it

sure seems like it, unless its a compatibility issue, which is what the seller told me when i contacted him for help. The odd thing is, he seems more than willing to give me a refund and has a 100% rating on ebay.

Same thing. Blinking LED light on mobo. I tried everything, even removing ram + graphics card and disconnecting all HDD's.

Is it really possible that the two are not compatible?

I don't see why it would not be compatible. I would check the voltages with a volt meter. Or better yet use a PSU checker that checks all the voltages. at once.
