That's been there for awhile. I have been following this closely as I have this motherboard. What I am really wondering is where are the Quads, so far no official support for Yorkfield (at the moment only QX9650) just Wolfdale. If you look over here at XS, a user (lawrywild) has hacked support for 45nm into BIOS rev 2004. He maintains a page dedicated to this motherboard. There are a few screenshots of someone with a QX9650 running on this board, so it is physically possible, but not officially supported "yet".

Seems like there is no technical reason why the mainstream Quad Penryns won't work either...

I thought I had originally heard the 975X wasn't going to support the 45nm chips?
