ASUS P68Z68 Pro V vs ASUS P68Z68 Pro V Gen 3

Hi All,

What are the advantages of a ASUS P68Z68 Pro V Gen 3 over the older (my) ASUS P68Z68 Pro V? I have never flashed the Bios from its original, would those who are very familiar with flashing ASUS MoBos recommend it? I am actually very happy with my system, it overclocks extremely well (4.6 no problem) and I feel a bit foolish about these questions now that I see them. Thank You for your time.

Former AMD fan and did a bad Flash on a Phenom 965 Black. Do INTEL Based boards tend to flash correctly more consistently? I sure would not like to boat anchor this great system I have. The i5 2500K is amazing and this board stands up to it. I guess i should just be happy with it the way it is. Thanks for your help this solves my questions.

No problem your welcome!Well it's always a risk all i can say i have never had a bios update go wrong with any Asus mobo but then again if your happy with it why risk what ain't broken lol
