Asus P6T Deluxe V2 and 8GB Corsair DDR3 - only finding 4GB :s

I just got a new pc setup:

intel i7 920
geforce gtx 295

A ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 motherboard with this RAM: Corsair XMS DDR3 PC3-10666 1333MHz (9-9-9-24) (TW3X4G1333C9)

I put them into the MoBo and when I boot up my OS which is Windows 7 64-bit it only finds 4GB for some reason and I have no idea how to fix this :S

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks. I'm going to try reorganizing the RAM and putting them in different slots. By the way, CPU-Z recognizes my 8GB of RAM but Windows does not.

I tried putting three of my four sticks into the three black slots and it wouldn't even boot. I then put them into the three red slots and it booted but still could only detect 4GB (CPU-Z still detected the correct amount however).

I'm going to keep trying to figure out a way but I'm really stumped here :s

Thats an interesting issue. I can't be the help you need unfortunately as I am still using Vista and a 775 socket system so I'm not familiar with the issues with the newer stuff, yet.

Some of the other guys should have some good input. Good luck! 😉
