Hi,

I have a ssd drive and two WDC4.0TB drives. I have configured the sata as raid. When the system boots the intel matrix manager sees the two 4TB drives as 1.6TB? Why? I need to setup Raid1 but can't.....

Please do note that this is before even an operating system is installed. I am simply trying to use the intel Matrix Manager boot utility to configure raid and it sees the drives as 1.6TB

Install BIOS Version 1003 or higher

1. Fix HDD size shown incorrectly if it's bigger than 2.2TB

For RAID bigger than 2.2TB, the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver for Intel Desktop Boards must be version 10.5 or higher!

Newest versions of IRST may not be compatible unless there is a supported BIOS version being used. Those versions are used for newer motherboards.

You can use the SSD as operating system. For DATA drive Raid, the drives must be GPT format. I would suggest installing the main IRST software program in Windows. (STOR_allOS_10.6.0.1022.exe version: 10.6.0.1022 - Size: 12.26 MB) Note the 12.26MB size.

Then use the main IRST program to create your RAID array, not the Cntrl & I Configuration Utility.
