I've come to the conclusion this board max is 3.8 stable. I've tried everything to get 4.0 to boot and it won't. (920 chip) Has anyone out there been sucessful?

Every OC is unique. It will mostly depend on the CPU, but also mobo, RAM and PSU. Your mobo is a good one; have you checked for a BIOS update?

Yes. It's 1102 the latest. I also believe I got a hot chip. It seems no matter what it stays above others that I read (in temp). I have it at 3.8 and it idles at 40c. No matter if it's at 2.66 or 3.6 there is only a 2c difference. Might as well keep it at the higher OC.

Mine (granted it's not a 920) is rock solid at 4, and I can go higher if I want to push the voltage and temps a bit.

No matter if I clock mine or not its around 42c. Havn't pushed it yet...stock cooler so far
