Hi,
I bought some years ago an Asus P6T motherboard. Now I tried to seat in 4 x 4gb (for a total of 16gb) of Corsair PC3-10700H (1600mhz), but the motherboard only sees 8gb, so just half of it.
I read the manual and chose the right configuration for the DIMM slots, so it's not a matter of wrong positioning anymore. I just updated the BIOS too, but it didn't do anything to help.
It's like the motherboard is reading my 4gb sticks as 2gb sticks. It should be 4 x 4 = 16gb, but right now is 2 x 4 = 8 gb.
I've tried to solve this problem to no avail for some days now and I really don't know what else I could do or try.
Any suggestions?
