ASUS P6T Two Hard Drives

I built ASUS P6T, iCore 920, 12GB RAM, 1.5TB Seagate SATA. I added another Seagate 1.5TB SATA and can't get Windows 7 Professional to recognize it. I suspect problem is in bios, but can't identify it?

Can you see in the bios two different hard drive ?

that's weird ... Is your bios up to date ? Try to disconnect your windows drive and insert your windows 7 dvd to see if it will recognize your brand new hdd

Yes, Windows setup recognizes the new HD. I can also see it in the bios. Another strange thing I just discovered: When I disconnect Windows drive and try to boot from dvd, it won't boot. If I leave Windows drive connected and try to boot from dvd, it boots from the dvd and wants to install the Windows OS. If I start through this process, it sees both hard drives and asks which one I want to use. Any other ideas?

Just figured it out. I went to diskmgmt.msc. There I activated the disk. Works.
