Hi All,
I am facing a problem with audio of my motherboard. I am writing here with the hope that I can get solution to it. Here is what happens:
I am using:
Asus P7H55-V
Core i3 530
8GB Ram
Nvidia GT240
Windows 8.1 64-bit
Problem is that when I switch audio to HD Audio from BIOS, Windows does not recognize the hardware as HD Audio device but instead as Realtek Digital Media(Optical). And when I switch it to AC97, it recognizes hardware as HD Audio Device. This never happened before but now it is irritating as AC97 doesn't give good enough Audio Quality and Sound is pretty weak to understand. Originally Audio settings in BIOS were set to HD Audio.
Thanks in advance
Regards,
SN
