Asus P8H61-M LX R2.0 Motherboard Cannot Detect Sapphire HD6670 Graphics

Hello guys,

I just buy sapphire HD6670 1GB DDR5 and using ASUS P8H61-M LX R2.0 mainboard but there is no display if I connect to the 6670 (the fan is spinning)

There's also error or incomplete installation when I tried to install Catalyst Control from the CD

Uninstall your previous graphics driver if you had one or disable your integrated graphics from your device manager. Then try and boot with the card. Make sure you have switched your primary output to pci instead of igpu in the bios.

If it still doesn't work, follow the instructions on the asus website on how to clear cmos and install the card then boot.

if the card need 400W, do I need to change my power supply?

Yes you need at least a 400w psu. 250w is very limited . go for 450w if your budget allows.
