[SOLVED] Asus P8H67-M LE Based PC Needs Upgrades

After putting together a new x570 Ryzen system together (see sig) I can't get my wife off it! She won't use her older core i5 pc based anymore stating it's too slow. And compared to the x570, it is.

I'm at work right now so can't remember what was in the her older Intel build. It does have SSD's that I'll re-use.

I have been out of the pc tech loop on build for so long and my x570 was put together primarily for gaming.

The performance of the 3800x is excellent and quite fast but for a general use PC i was thinking an older gen Ryzen 2700x would do.

I'm open for suggestions on a solid board with Wifi and Bluetooth and a couple NVMe slots.

I don't need a high performance PC, just a solid build that's up to date and speedy too!

I'd like to keep the total budget around $400 or less. I'll reuse the case and SSD for added storage with the M2's.

Need:
AMD cpu
Memeory
Motherboard
Good low end graphics card
PSU

Thanks for the help!

What are her system uses, and full specs, of that i5 system? When was the last time you did a fresh install of Windows on it? That budget is a bit low, for a Ryzen 7.

What is she going to use it for ? If it's not for serious gaming, Ryzen3400G has graphics of decent low end GPU, somewhere between Gtx 1030 and 1050, some good x450 MB like MSI Tomahawk Max and 2x8GB sticks 3200 -3600MHz. Ad to it NVMe M.2 SSD and it will fly.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.

Her usage would be surfing the net and Microsoft Office primarily.

Just looking around on the 2600 looks like a nice cpu for the money and comes with the Wraith cooler.

And the 2700 with cooler is $149 on Amazon right now. Hmmmm.

Got some time last night to see what her PC had in it, been a while since I put that one together.

CPU: i5 2400
Motherboard: Asus P8H67-M LE
Memory: 8GB 1333
GPU: GT 710
SSD: Evo 860

Found a "recertified" i7 3770 on Amazon for $103.
16GB 1333 memory $50
PCI Wifi adaptor $40

Will have to update the bios for the 3770.

Boot time is quick with the Evo.
The current Wifi USB dongle is pretty slow and I think that was her biggest gripe compared to the newer x570 build.
