Hi There,
Need your help desperately ....

Following is my PC Config
1. ASUS P8H67-V Motherboard
2. Intel i5 CPU - Intel Core i5-2400 3.10 GHz
3. DDR3 RAM 1333 Mhz (4GB x 2)
4. 1 TB HDD
5. 1 DVD RW
6. Corsair Power Supply VS-450
7. NVIDIA GTS 450 TAG

Problem: Machine Keeps giving 1 Long and 2 Short Beeps With or Without RAM and With or Without Graphic Card.

What I have already t
1. Tried Replacing RAMs - Didn't Help!
2. Tried Changing RAM Slots - Didn't Help!
3. Tried Cleaning RAM with eraser - Didn't Help!
4. Tried Removing Graphic Card and used on-board graphic card - Didn't Help!
5. Tried Removing all hardware and just boot-up using Motherboard, Processor, RAM - Didn't Help!

After trying all of above combination whenever I boot-up... It keeps throwing 1 Long and 2 Short Beeps

I have recorded the beeps coming from Motherboard... please listen it here http://vocaroo.com/i/s1r6BF3eDC1M

I am confused what to do now.

Please help me!

Yeah Csoni, it could go either way. I've seen them beep and not beep. It just depends on what part of the board has failed and whether it's a major or minor failure. More times than one I've seen folks with a single slot on the motherboard stop working or all the slots except one and even just plain all the slots period.

I've seen portions of the I/O panel stop working or individual usb ports fail, so anything can happen, and usually does.
Did you add memory or were these modules running in the unit previously?

Are the modules both installed in the two slots closest to the CPU?

Did you try resetting the BIOS to default or optimal settings or checking to see if there is a BIOS update available?

1. These memory modules were there in the system and were running previously.
2. I have tried putting memory in to all 4 slots ... Did not help.
3. I cant see anything on screen to reset or Update BIOS.... However I tried resting using jumper setting.... but did not help.

Its Intel Core i5-2400 3.10 GHz

Yes CPU Fan runs when I start the PC.... Tried cleaning all dusts near CPU... Nothing is helping.

Since you have already tried:

1. Different RAM
2. Every RAM slot
3. Minimal hardware
4. Memok

I'd say the problem is either the power supply or the motherboard. Try removing the cmos battery for one minute and put it back.
Try a different PSU. If the PSU doesn't supply enough power for the motherboard to power the RAM or CPU, it won't start. Since the beep codes indicate RAM and not CPU I don't think it's a CPU issue, but that doesn't mean it couldn't be, just that it's unlikely.

You can test the PSU like this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ac7YMUcMjbw

If the PSU tests ok, (And don't make the mistake of thinking that just because some fans and lights come on, and that it beeps, that it means it can't be bad. There are multiple circuits inside the power supply and any one of them could have failed while the others still function.) I'd replace the motherboard. Usually a bad motherboard won't give you a beep code indicating a problem with the memory, but if different memory doesn't help, and since it failed after it was already functional, not after installing new hardware, it would indicate that it's not something that's not being done right, it's just something that has stopped working.

Since your raised possible problem with PSU... I would like to add one more point....

Earlier to this I had Crosair GS-600 PSU it stopped working.... and I replaced it with Corsair VS-450.... then all these problem started.

Do you think NEW PSU could be the problem, because Fans are working using PSU.

Is VS-450 not supported by this motherboard? or is it not giving enough power?

According the asus beep codes 1long and 2 short is saying that the RAM is not being detected.

So, I would start with putting ONE ram in the first slot and trying to boot it up. If it fails switch it out. If it boots, try putting the next in in the third slot, rinse , repeat.

That's all been covered. He's tried all the possible placement and replacement remedies. Or says he did anyhow. Of course we can only assume that to be correct since we're not there.

That PSU should be sufficient for your hardware, if it's not a bad unit. Since you can't get into the BIOS or Windows to see what the voltages look like, you need to either try another known good PSU of good quality, or test the PSU manually, as I said before. If the RAM doesn't get the necessary voltage, it will look like a failure and trigger beep codes as if the RAM was faulty. Or, there could be an issue with the motherboard. Why was it determined that the old PSU was bad? Perhaps it was not bad and the motherboard was to blame all along. Just a thought, not a certainty.

@ Brighttail, Like DarkBreeze mentioned.... I have tried all possble replacement remedies and combinations of different slots. It did not help.

@DarkBreeze, I replaced old PSU because it was bad, it was not starting at all (No fans n lights were working on Motherboard), I tried sorting Green and Black it did not turn on... I checked that PSU on other working machine... It did not work... so I am 100% sure my old corsair GS-600 was faulty.

I bought brand new corsair VS-450 and these problems started. However fans and lights on motherboard are working with with new PSU.

I am going to try new PSU and update you here.

Even I am also believer that if motherboard is faulty... it wont throw beeps... anyways lets see.
