Hi .

today i build my firs desktop pc

) Asus P8H77-V LE
2) BenQ GW2320
3) Corsair CX600 ATX2.3 80+ 600W
4) Enermax Midl Tower Ostrog White ECA3253-WB
5) Gigabyte GF GTX760 2GB GDDR5 PCIE GV-N760OC-2GD 2.0
6) Intel® Core™ i5-3570K 3.4GHz 6MB LGA1155 BX80637I53570KSR0PM
7) Kingston 8GB DDR3 PC12800 CL9 XyperX Beast KIT OF 2 KHX16C9T3K2/8X
8) TP-Link TL-WN781ND Wireless PCIe Adapter

so i build the computer, but my monitor have just VGA connector and not dvi, because gtx 760 supports just hdmi and dvi, so i plugged the cable into the motherboard, and it does not showing anything, my question is

did I do something wrong? or to use intel hd graphics i need to remove the video card gtx 760?

Tomorrow i will buy dvi cable and will see what happens , but in the meanwhile i'm struggling because I though that it should work even with the gtx 760 in the board. monitor work fine with the laptop.

You need to plug the cable into the 760. The graphics card is only used when the monitor is connected to it. When you plug the monitor into the motherboard it uses the CPU's onboard graphics, not the graphics card. You will need to get an adapter or I would recommend getting a new monitor since VGA is not HD

I understand what you want to say, but the monitor also supports dvi connection, and int he meanwhile i have just vga cable which was with the monitor, so my question is, do I need to remove gtx 760 to use procesor gpu? Because when i plug thr cable into motherboard it should use intel hd graphics, but it does not, monitor shows nothing.
