Computer wont find my SATA chipset, its on my computer still, just wont find it or recognize it. Asus has not released any windows 10 chipsets or drivers yet. Anyone know what I can do?

Solution

Check the Asus website and see if there are Win8.1 SATA/AHCI drivers available for your MB. I've used the Win8.1 drivers myself for a couple B75 boards that don't have Win10 drivers and they worked just fine. You should grab the chipset driver too and install that first.
Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but in my device manager everything seems fine except for the SATA.

Exact: Intel(R) 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family 6 Port SATA AHCI Controller - 1C02

It has the yellow exclamation mark in front of it.

So I did in fact download the windows 8.1 SATA driver and it worked. But when I start my computer it says

IntelChipset Asus Setup Not found. Is this something different? (This was what I thought I was fixing with the SATA driver) Is it something else?

Thank you by the way

Did you grab and install the Win8.1 chipset driver too? You might need to uninstall/reinstall the SATA driver *after* installing the chipset driver.
