Asus P8P68 Evo missing a pin, will a i7 3770k still work on it?

I have a P8P67 Evo that has 1 missing power pin (out of 1155 pins)
I have been using it for a while afterwards with a i7 2600k overclocked to 4.5 ghz
Since I found a i7 3770k for a cheap price, I was going to replace and sell the i7 2600k.
Will it still work on the socket? (I don't know if the pin layout of Sandy Bridge is the same as Ivy Bridge.)
If it does work, should I overclock the cpu despite missing a power pin?
