Asus p8z68-v/gen 3 turn on screen problem ?

When i turn on my newly built pc with the p8z68-v/gen 3 motherboard at the asus (welcome/access bios) screen it disappears for 1 second and then reappears ? Is this normal ? Is there something maybe i did'nt do right ?

P.S. It's hard to explain but i see the asus screen twice...

Hey,

I have the same motherboard, same issue, except that mine died and is now on its way back to ASUS. I have seen other people mention this issue, and one mentioned that they had solved the problem but never mentioned how.

If you find a solution please let me know.

How long did it take to die ?

I found that by disabling the JMB controller in the BIOS I no longer get a dual splash screen...
