Asus P8Z68-v LX tempurature?

I recently got a P8Z68-v LX, and the south bridge is hitting temperatures around 80c. Is this normal? I know it's not a false reading since I physically felt it and it is hot to touch.

Thats strange! I have the same board with an Intel I7 2600K and it runs real cool..Even for hours , the heatsink is not even hardly warm...
