Asus p8z68-v pro no bootable device detected after windows 7 update

I recently built a computer , and it works fine for a few weeks until today I shut it down , and windows 7 does its usual update when shutting down, but I can't start it up again now, every time it says no bootable device,

any suggestions?

yes the motherboard has the power and reset buttons lights ON, and also the boot_device_led ON with red light

I tried the hard drive on another computer, and it also fails to start, I think I will return this hard drive tomorrow,

tried the reset button, didn't do anything,...what does the jumper cable do exactly?
