I would like to be able to overclock a 2500k to 4.2ghz and have it last for at least 3 years. The build will have one 7200 rpm drive, one Sata3 6gb/s SSD, and a single graphics card. I will be using onboard audio. I have NO interest in SLI or crossfire.
Question 1: Is there any reason that the Pro version would be a better overclocker than the non version? From what I understand, the pro and non pro versions have the same number power phases? Or is the circuitry on the Pro version better?
Question 2: They both have the Realtek ALC892 onboard audio, HOWEVER, the pro version Also has "DTS Surround Sensation UltraPC" and "Absolute Pitch 192kHz/ 24-bit True BD Lossless Sound". Will these features make any difference noticable difference for gaming if I am using onboard audio?
