So, I just built a new PC about 1 month ago and I just downloaded Speccy to check the temps of everything...

CPU i7 2600K @ 31 C
HD 6850 @ 38 C
and then my motherboard at 124 C????? Umm, is that possible? That's 255 F!

Fans are all running and all the airflow is working fine. Could it be the program? Could it be that it doesn't report the temp correctly?

Your Temps for CPU and GPU are very good. Check your Mobo temps in BIOS. If its fine there then the problem is that Speccy is not reading the temps correctly. Try to get a monitor program from the Mobo manufacturer if available.

Hmm, 44 C is not too bad but you should be able to get it below 40 C. Does your Mobo have the ability to auto adjust the fan speeds? If so disable that and just run the CPU fan at max. Also, you can put a second fan on that cooler if it doesn't have one already.
