Since Windows 7 support has ended, I figured I'd FINALLY upgrade to Windows 10. It will be a clean install on a new SSD. I read that prior to doing that, it's recommended to update the BIOS. I have the ASUS P8Z68-VLE, and I've never updated the BIOS. I just haven't. It has version 0805.

Should I update it, and is it as easy as it appears, using EZ Flash? I downloaded the latest BIOS version(4102) Looks like I just have to go into BIOS, then EZ Flash, find the file, and flash it, yes? Could anything go wrong that I need to be aware of??

Thanks, in advance!

Yes, use the EZ Flash in BIOS.
Even if going wrong, it's still fixable, by replacing the BIOS chip.
Thanks. What are the odds I'll have a hiccup with flashing the BIOS? And do I need to do it before installing Windows 10?
