Asus p8z77-lx Boot up problem and Ethernet problem

Currently building a pc with my friend using the above motherboard. We manage to get to to the desktop, but when we install the motherboard drivers and it restarts, it gets to the windows loading screen then shows 'no input detected' on the monitor. Also, if we just install the lan drivers on the disk even though the ethernet cable is connected to the PC and the router nothing shows. Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated

I wouldn't use the drivers off the driver disk, they may well have been out of date by the time the mobo left the factory, download them from the web site...also check if a BIOS update available

I'd type out a full parts list and update UEFI to the latest version before you go any further. Is this a fresh operating system install or are you carrying it over from a previous build?

We fixed it by downloading the latest drivers from the internet, thank you
