I have one bootable SSD (P1), a second SSD (P2) and a DVD Reader (P3) installed on the Windows PC. When I go into the BIOS, the boot order is shown from top to bottom as P3-P2-P1 with P3 as default.

At every boot, I have to choose P1 manually with the KB or mouse. But I can't change the order.

In the small window below, only the symbol of the dvd reader is shown, no SSD's at all.

Please advise

Boot will always default to media first, since you have an optical drive, that's where the windows DVD would have been for every OS prior to Win10.

Bios will skip the optical if it detects no boot able media presently loaded.

Try changing the Sata data around. Some boards worked with a priority system, they'd use the gray Intel first, then the blue as the gray are Intel through the cpu and the blue are chipset. Swapping the data ports around can change the drives to higher priority putting the boot able ssd above the other.
