Asus p8z77-v deluxe mobo reading127 degrees? As it says, I got an alert from AI Suite 2. However the fans haven't ramped up at all, the top fan isn't even on. Any ideas why this is happening, am I frying it as I type?

3770k at 4.3 is 29 degrees, etc...

Debug code 80 on the mobo lcd.

May want to check your current BIOS version against the Asus website support page for your mobo. You may need to update it.

You can also use a different program like HWMonitor or similar to double check the temps.

As best I can tell it was possibly CPU-Z corrupting the readings. Hasn't happened since. Thanks for the help.

I did check/update the bios, etc. , but I tried really hard to replicate the problem first with no luck. Maybe just a weird conflict somewhere. Glad I'm not fried.

Sometimes using more than one monitoring program can cause conflicts - basically they all try polling data from the mobo sensors at the same time but with varying frequency. Glad it worked itself out
