I have an Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe and an RTX 1060 GB. I would like to use the Nvidia GPU only for deep learning, and thus want to have the full 6 Gb free without wasting VRAM on display. However, I have run into a problem setting this up in the BIOS and can only get display out from the DVI-port on the 1060 card.
Under Advanced -> System Agent Configuration -> Graphics Configuration I have set Primary Display to iGPU and iGPU Multi-Monitor to Enabled. However, this always reverts to Auto, which outputs a video signal from the 1060 card. From the motherboard I am checking the HDMI output signal as I don't have Displayport.
Is it not possible to force the iGPU to be used? Any help most welcome!
