Question asus p8z77-v lx issue with ram

Hello, i tried building a pc using an Asus p8z77-v lx but it seems to have a very weird issue with ram.
I have two 8gb 1600mhz sticks of ram from Zeppelin (wich honestly i've never even heard of before) and whenever i put any of the sticks in the computer, the dram led starts blinking and if i press the memok button it just enters a bootloop. They were a given to my by a friend and they worked perfectly fine yesterday.
However, the computer boots perfectly fine with a 4gb 1333mhz stick of ram from Samsung that i just happened to find.
Currently i am unable to try out any other ram and i haven't managed to find anyone else with this issue.
Other specs:
i7-3770
AMD Radeon RX 470 8GB
500GB Samsung SSD
nJoy 500W semi-modular broze certified PSU
Any help is appreciated
edit: I have managed to test the ram in an old lenovo thinkcentre running an intel pentium g630 and it also does not boot into windows, the fans run at full speed and im able to shut it down only by unplugging the computer
I dont know what to make of this, i'll probably have to get new ram

Does it just straight up unable to boot or does it just don't boot into your operating system? If you can boot a USB with MemTest86 on it, do so.

unfortunately it is completely unable to boot
im considering buying something similar to be sure if its the ram or the motherboard
