[SOLVED] ASUS P9X79 with i7 3930K

I got an empty PC only with this motherboard and Processor inside from a friend
First I thought I will build a Pc with this - but investigating the components and work - I realized that my knowledge is far too less doing so.

So my first question is here:
Question - Can I use a i7 3930k in old optiplex 790 MT | Tom's Hardware Forum (tomshardware.com)

If not, what do you think would be a reasonable price to sell:

1. The ASUS P9X79 board.
2. The ASUS P9X79 board with the i7 3930K Processor on it.

What do you think?

Check on ebay for completed sales. Someone looking for an X79 board might be willing to pay a decent amount.

Ten year old 6 core 12 thread. Still reasonable for a lot of tasks, but won't do so well in gaming, cheap 10th gen i3 or i5 would wipe the floor with it.
