ASUS PB 287 vs PB 287Q - what is the difference?

Hello!

Does anyone know what the difference is between the ASUS PB287 and ASUS PB287Q?

So far I've found out that the Q is newer and has a lower running cost over 2 years, (as reported by Kagoo) but that's about it. Many reviewers even omit the Q from their review titles which makes the situation more difficult than it should be.

Specifically I'm worried about the refresh rate; will I also get 60Hz with the 287?

According to this Kagoo comparison the Q was released two years later, and has a lower wattage... which doesn't explain a few Q reviews from 2014, 2 years before the Q was released according to the link above!!

Then in the Linus review of same (also released in 2014) you can see the back label where both PB287 and PB287Q are mentioned.

It is normal for ASUS to leave off the Q sometimes. My monitor is the PA248Q, but the box says "PA248" on it. They are just two names for the same product.
