Asus PB278Q vs Dell U2713HM

Hi guys, I cant decide which one to chose and its killing me =[.

So far from my research.

Asus PB278Q €506,- euro:
+ I have heard that PLS panels are superior compare to IPS from this guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zNc2fKuVnGU
+ Asus's monitors are the most popular on newegg, perhaps speak something about its quality? http://www.newegg.com/LCD-Monitors/SubCategory/ID-20?Order=REVIEWS
+ It has 5 ms reaction time, U2713HM has 8 ms.

Dell U2713HM €480,- euro:
+ I heard that it has better color accuracy compare to the PB278Q.
+ Its a little bit cheaper, but that is not an issue for me.

I think Dell is a cheap brand, that is why all school/company use Dell desktop pc set. I am building a €2000+ machine so I am quite picky over it. Am I wrong?

I will use it for gaming/watching movies/viewing pictures(not graphic design)
I know that I cant go wrong with either of them, but since I pay so much I just want to get the best out of it . Can you tell me which one should I chose and why? Thanks ; ).

Like you I am trying to determine which of these two to buy. I haven't found a comparison website such as this one which has reviewed both monitors so that one can be reasonably assured that they have both been examined in the same way. I think I have concluded that they are pretty evenly matched as far as performance is concerned and one is unlikely to be disappointed with either in that respect. The only apparent significant diference seems to be QA/QC. Looking at the customer reviews on Amazon, the Asus comes out ahead. Both have reasonable numbers of reviews (31 and 50) for the result to statistically significant. At the moment, I am leaning towards the Asus. Decision shortly!
