ASUS PB287Q "Frozen?" after factory reset.

I factory reset my ASUS PB287Q monitor because the brightness/color was off. My monitor went black when I hit "all reset" in the menu, and is now stuck with no display and I can't bring up the menu. The screen is alternating between solid black and slightly brighter black every few seconds (5-10 secs). The power indicator is lit and staying solid.

I can't bring up the menu, pressing menu buttons does nothing (menu doesn't come up). I've tried turning it off and on again. I've tried disconnecting the power and holding the power button for 30+ seconds. I've tried disconnecting/reconnecting all cables. It's just stuck in this state. My pc does recognize the monitor (i can change resolution for example). But the monitor itself just seems frozen.

I've tried googling for a way to master/hard reset, but I can't find anything.

Nevermind, I'm dumb. I spent hours trying to reset it/messing around with it. And then I tried something else...

I just tried plugging in an HDMI cable and it worked. Was able to access menu (no idea why I couldn't before though), and had to change displayport settings to 1.2 from 1.1.

That's all it was.
