ASUS PCE-AC56 good ping on pingtest, horrific ping in games.

So I just got a PCE-AC56, and the speed is fine on speedtest and pingtest, but the second I try to game online with it i get insane 300+ ping, totally unplayable and this should not be the case. (I thought it would be worse than wired but not THAT bad). Any idea what could be causing this and any ideas how to fix it. (also the card is plugged into my second PCI-e x16 slot, not the PCI-e x1 slot since that didnt work at all).

Could be the server you are playing on is having issues? Has the problem been going on a while or is this a sudden issue?
Ping time to a speedtest server would likely be faster than the server the game is on due to traffic and location.

So it turns out the windows 10 version of the driver and utility package from the ASUS site is not in fact, the correct version, I installed the windows 7 version (on windows 10, fuck knows how that even works) and now it works perfectly, ping at normal levels. Thanks ASUS.
