Asus PCE-AC68 wireless card good or bad?

I need to run my gaming rig on wireless since I cant run a Ethernet cable, I'm not sure whats a good wireless card. This is by far the most expensive I found most reviews are atleast two years old so I have nothing else to compare it too.

2nd question do i need that powerful of a wireless card for gaming? My internet provider offers 22mbps/2mbps. Is it over kill?

Powerful? Its just the wireless part that's fancy. eg if you only have 2.4GHz, you could use a pcie wifi adapter eg Asus N15. Or dual band try Asus N53. Both about $40 from Newegg.

This card is good for future proofing. In actual fact- if you don't buy the AC router to go with it, you will be restricted to speeds of the wireless N.
