So I bought this adapter yesterday because of all the reviews I read online that this was one of the best WIFI adapters to get (just upgraded to 400mbps).
When it works its amazing, but I've been having issues staying connected.

Yesterday, the internet was completely disconnecting when I tried to download something, but I fixed that through changing some settings that I found when googling the issue. (Not just me, but the whole internet went out)

Now, I've been randomly getting disconnected and when it happens I can't find ANY other wifi networks to connect to. I've been able to "diagnose" the problem and let windows fix it, restart the computer, or disable and then enable the device in the device manager to get it to work again.

This thread is very similar to what is happening to me.

Also, I noticed that the windows icon for the wifi will sometimes grey out, but it will either keep the connection or turn off.

I've updated drivers from the website, as well as trying to update through windows.

Any help/info would be appreciated, thanks!

My ethernet adapter was enabled, and I just disabled it.

I also left my PC on over night and woke up to the adapter being "turned off" again.

I ended up exchanging the adapter for a new one (same card tho) and I also placed the adapter in another/different pcie slot when I installed it. It's only been a day or two and I've only been using the internet for a few hours a night, but so far no more drops that I've seen.

Hope this helps you!
