Hello
I've recently bought a ASUS PCE-N10 Adapter for my pc so I can create a wifi hotspot.

I installed the ASUS WLAN Card Utilities/Drivers and I try to open up the ASUS PCE-N10 WLAN Control Center but I get a message "RtWLan.exe has stopped working." The actual card works (I think) since I can pick up other networks. But I just want to use the Control Center...

Any suggestions?

I also recommend you DOWNLOAD the driver and utility and install those as they may be newer than the disc.

So I recommend:
1. Download both files and the manual
(*again, use the drop-down menu for your version of WINDOWS)
2. UNINSTALL what you previously installed
3. Install the downloaded software

I've also seen issues like this due to OTHER software issues such as the Main Chipset driver not being installed properly for the motherboard.

I think the problem might be that I'm on Win8. There isn't a utilities/drivers for win8. I tried installing the utilities/drivers for win7 64bit but the control center just crashes without the "RtWLan.exe has stopped working."

Yeah there's drop down menus for both versions of win8 but there's no utilities for win8. Only drivers...
