Hey, so in my ASUS B85M-G R2.0 BIOS there are 3 modes: Performance, Normal and Battery Saving, i've heard that performance mode allows my CPU (I5-4590) to run constantly at turbo boost speed, is this correct? Also, should i do it or is it not worth it? I just can't understand why ASUS would put an overclocking feature in a mobo that doesn't allow overclocking

It's not an "overclocking feature". "Overclocking" is running hardware at clockspeed beyond what it's rated at. Turbo Boost is simply Intel going "this can run at that speed, but it needs better cooling than stock to do it".

As for the settings, just use Performance.

Should i not worry about not having any extra coolers besides the ones that came with my case and the cpu stock one? Will this give me any noticeable performance gains in games? I have so many questions haha, is there anywhere where i can read more about this?

Well I'd recommend using an aftermarket cooler, even a relatively cheap one (e.g. Hyper 212 or even a Hyper T4) if you want to run at Turbo clocks constantly. As for performance gains, depends on the game. You will see a difference in CPU-intensive games (e.g. strategy games, GTA V).
