Question Asus PG279Q ROG Swift 27.0" 2560 x 1440 165 Hz Monitor - What DisplayPort chord to buy?

So lately I think my Display port 1.2 is dying. Which DisplayPort 1.2 to choose? I am so lost with this stuff with all the options.

For the past 8 months sometimes when I turn my computer on and monitor I just see DisplayPort Not Found or recognized on my monitor and I have to unplug and replug the DP and turn computer on and off to get it to work so I think it is my chord.

Might as well pick up a Display Port 2.0 cable so it is forwards compatible to your next potential monitor.
