[SOLVED] Asus PG27A 4k monitor not running a 4k, but 1080p

I have an ASUS PG27A 4K monitor. when I connect it to my Xbox and go to the settings on my monitor, it says it is running at 1080p x something. I know that that is not 4k. There also is no way on my monitor's settings to turn it up to 4k. When I try to enable 4K mode on my xbox, it says that my monitor does not run at 60 FPS, but on my monitor it says clearly that it is running on 60 FPS. I am so confused. Also, do I configure 4K setting on the monitor itself or do I have to download something on my pc in order to configure it?

You need to tun on 4k in the XB1s/XB1x under the advanced video settings. You will need an HDMI 2.0 cord for 4k at 60hz.
