Asus PG348Q @ 100Hz Trouble.

I am running:

1 GTX Titan X Maxwell
1 Asus PG348Q 3440x1440 Displauy
1 DisplayPort Cable

No matter what I do I can't get the display to switch to 100Hz. I just recently updated the driver to the latest version from the NVidia GeForce Experience but I cannot get the monitor to switch to 100Hz so what gives? I could have bought a monitor that costs $1000 less for 60Hz. Please help!!!!

OC is on in the monitor settings and set to 100Hz but the NVidia Control Panel as well as the button on the monitor for switching between 60 and 100 Hz won't switch to 100.

In the OSD when you turned on overclocking and selected 100hz did you click the OSD button and get the message asking to reboot the display, then click again to actual reboot it? The screen should go black and then you will get an Asus splash screen as it reboots. You can't just select 100hz in the OSD. Then you can set it to 100hz in the Nvidia control panel.

Change your Windows Display settings to 100Hz. It won't work otherwise. (of course activate the option in the monitor OSD and reboot the display and also create a custom display profile in your Nvdia Driver Control Panel).

Yes, I have enabled the OC for 100Hz in the monitor's OSD and the monitor did indeed restart itself afterwards. As far as chaning the resolution, I have Win dows 10 Pro so the NVidia Control Panel is where it's at. So far still no luck.

When I try to create a custom resolution from the Nvidia Control Panel of 3440x1440 @100Hz the screen blacks out until the changes are reverted and the resolution doesn't hold to 100Hz. Is there a way to upload a video of all of my settings here? I think the 100Hz capability for this monitor is just broken...

Q. Is there not an HDMI cable now that works for up to 4K resolutions? Because this is the second DisplayPort cable I've had trouble with. From everything I'm reading it sounds like this may be a bad cable issue.

Q. How about a DVI (from the computer) to DisplayPort (at the monitor) cable, can that handle up to 3440x1440 res?

This guide doesn't seem to apply to Windows 10 Pro...
