Asus PG348Q monitor

Hi all i just bought a new monitor it arrives at the weekend i have been waiting a while to get this thing i was going to hold off and get a new rig and monitor at same time but i think ill just run my current setup to next year and just wonder how it will perform at 1440p resolution.

System specs
Gigabyte ud4 b3
Core i5 2500k @ 4.5ghz
8gb corsair vengeance @1600mhz
Msi gtx1070 8gb
850 evo ssd

So as you can see it is getting on abit this setup was built 6 years ago and only built it to last 4 years but it is still hanging in there how do you think it will be at 1440p only thing i really play is p3d v3 and farming simulator 2017 and the odd fps shooter or fallout.

i'm not sure how well your system will be able to handle your games on this monitor.
you will be limited by both CPU and GPU.
for example, WoT is not getting to 100FPS on max settings with GTX 1070.
DOOM runs awesomely good.

Oh im not really fussed about the 100hz refresh ill just be running 60fps aslong as it manages that then ill be happy p3d only runs at 30fps anyway doesnt matter what kind of pc you have its not much better.
