Question Asus pg348q with gtx 980

Hi I'm planning to get a used pg348q and my question is if i can get 100hz with the gtx 980
I'm not planning to play games on 21:9 since the card too weak but still i wanna know if i can run 100hz

Depends on the game but a 4gb 980 is going to struggle at 1440P sorry to say. You will get 100hz to work fine, just not 100 fps.

I asked this because i saw in order to run 100hz OC on this monitor you need gsync that support only 980ti and above
btw i mostly play cs go, if i run it on 1024x768 on this monitor it will look bad right? also it wont be able to run above 100fps on this res?

All I know is 100hz should work as long as you use a DisplayPort cable.
