asus ping request timed out

From past few days i am getting terrible internet speed.. page doesn't open or takes much longer thn usual. I called ISP technician & he said there is a problem with my router..
below is screen shot which shows router page ping result with & without wifi --

This router is not even 6 months old! specs as below-
My router is ASUS RT-AC68U , i use ASUS AC1300 USB adapter on my PC. to connect wirelessly

please note, i am facing this problem on all the devices which are connected to the router i.e my cell phones, my laptops etc. Not sure what to do now 🙁

Your Adapter is connecting with wireless but frequently. It may cause many reason so we can't say hardware issue on first attempt.Do one thing try to reset both devices router and adapter and try to re install it. This time keep your wireless security type with AES type.It may resolve your issue otherwise try to change your adapter which make sure its adapter issue.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried resetting router couple of times in past. I will try again with AES type security. i doubt it is an adapter problem because i am facing same issue on my mobile phones & laptops. i.e terribly slow speed & video call drop several times within a 2-3 minutes.
