Hello! I've recently been having a problem with a new ASUS Q304UA that I purchased from Best Buy. It is about 3 days old. It's a great laptop, but I've been having a problem ever since I've had it about powering it on, and have yet to find a solution anywhere. This is my situation:
I have no problem with powering on the computer when it is plugged in, but my problem arises whenever I unplug the computer and leave it for about 2 hours. The battery gets drained to around 75-90%, which means I should be able to turn it on, however, when I do, the power button LED only flashes on and off, and I am unable to turn on the laptop. Normally I'd just plug in the charger and it'd boot up, however with college quickly approaching, I'd find it disruptive/difficult to have to find an outlet just to plug in a charger in the middle or beginning of class. I don't think this is a hardware problem, but rather just me not knowing what to do with this computer.
With the first quarter of college coming up, I'd like to have this problem fixed as soon as possible, but please do not feel rushed to solve the problem, so if you want to help, please, take your time. If I find a solution to the problem, I'll make sure to let you guys know.
Thanks for the help!
