Hi

ASUS Prime A370 - A.

Problem: Sata Port 4 not working.

All 5 of the other SATA ports are working.
I tried two different sata cables and two different power cables.
I mounted the drive that I am testing the port with, external and it mounted, so I don't think it's the drive.
It a Kingston A400 SSD.

I have an NVMe drive in M.2 slot 1 (System drive),
Could the M.2 slot / drive be interfering with the SATA port?

Thank You

Solution
SATA port 1 will be disabled if a M.2 SATA SSD is installed. While you installed a NVME SSD, all SATA ports should work fine.

set the BIOS configuraion of the M.2 to PCIe mode instead of AUTO, might be working better.

Eventually update the BIOS of the motherboard
